The event I attended was fun. I enjoyed seeing kids and a wide variety of people in attendance. I watched the audience throughout the evening and was pleased to see everyone was enjoying themselves. I really liked that you brought the audience into the production and made it interactive. The production also helped bring my mind out of the Opera can be stuffy place it tends to lurk.

The FOT production that we attended was a great experience. It was very entertaining and I was exposed to a genre of music that I do not customarily enjoy. As well, the performance was enjoyed by my friends - both opera lovers and opera haters.

I have been to several productions, and I loved them! I took several people with me who would never have thought to attend Opera, assuming they would not like it. We had lively discussions afterward and they all felt they had learned something and had a better understanding of the medium..

Fresco gave them an opportunity experience Opera in a friendly environment, without the formality of attending an entire production or the fear that they would get there and hate it. The fact that the performers are first rate is important to the experience, as it lends a level of credibility to the tongue in cheek presentations.

I can see Fresco as a great way to introduce children to Opera, allowing them to see the fun in the performance as well as hear the complexity of the music.. I plan to attend future performances and will continue to recommend it to my friends and family.

Fresco Opera Theatre has introduced my children to the world of Opera. The productions utilize great songs and entertain the listener with a visual oddity that leaves a lasting impression. My son, Evan, will never forget the Romeo and Juliet tragic death scene as performed by Frankenstein and his wife. To hear such great singers perform these great aria's has made for a wonderful family experience for me and the kids.

I attended the Saturday night performance of The Real Divas of Dane County. The show was fantastic! I was serenaded by Gino himself, that's what I get for sitting on the aisle! =) I highly recommend seeing the FOT perform. I've also heard rave reviews about past shows.

I love Italian opera & Star Wars, & the opportunity to see the two together in Fresco Opera Theater's performance of Handel's Rinaldo was something I couldn't pass up - I figured it would either be a disaster or a lively & fun performance. It was the latter!! I was especially impressed with the high level of singing and the work of the orchestra. The Star Wars jokes and gags were enough to enliven the performance, but not so over the top as to be off-putting. I'll seriously consider attending future performances and look to bring along some friends as an entertaining way to introduce them to opera. Bravo to Fresco Opera Theater!!
